It is known to scavenge reactive oxygen species by interacting with lipids during oxidative stress. (±)-α-Tocopherol-(trimethyl-13C3 phenyl) is an isotope of vitamin E wherein all the three methyl carbons attached to the phenyl ring are replaced by 13C6 carbon. |
